Breaking News: Two Foreigners Held in Duazon Drug Bust |
By Kruah ThompsonMONROVIA, July 21, 2026 — The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), working with other national security agencies, has seized a large consignment of suspected cocaine during a raid on a warehouse in Duazon, Margibi County. A Colombian and a Spanish national allegedly linked to the property were arrested during the operation and are being investigated, Information Minister Jerolinmek Matthew Piah announced Tuesday. Speaking at the Ministry of Information’s regular press briefing, Piah said preliminary assessments indicated that the substance was cocaine.
